HTRBA Little League

Tournament Team Commitment

Fill out the form and email it back to [email protected] or turn it into the snack stand during game day.

Being selected to a Tournament Team should be considered a great accomplishment and honor to represent your friends as a HTRBA Little League Tournament team.  Your other friends who also expressed interest in being on a team and tryout may not make a team.  So, if selected to one of these teams, you are expected to attend the majority of the practices and all games.  If you are selected and miss any games you are taking another child's spot who would have committed to being at every game.

If you have any issues, vacations, or any other prior commitments during the end of June and July please raise them when talking to the coach.  Many issues can be worked out up front if they are brought to the league's attention.

PRACTICES
6-7 y/o practice 2-3 times a week
8 y/o practice 3-4 times a week
9-10 y/o   practice 4-6 times a week
10-11 y/o practice 4-6 times a week
11-12 y/o practice 4-6 times a week

District Team Minimum Play Rules [10's, 11's and 12's]

12 PLAYER ROSTER (1 at-bat plus 6 consecutive defensive outs per game)
If a tournament team has 12 or fewer eligible players in uniform at a game, then every player on the roster must participate in each game for a minimum of six consecutive defensive outs and bat at least one time.

13 or 14 PLAYER ROSTER  (1 at-bat per game only)
If a tournament team has 13 or more eligible players in uniform at a game, every player on the roster must participate in each game for a minimum of one at-bat.

REASONING FOR A LARGER ROSTER
The 13-14 Player Roster was instituted to encourage Little Leagues to take more players on their rosters, giving these players the opportunity to play on teams and improve their skills by attending team practices.
